Gothic Ivories Project
Check out the Gothic Ivories Project, an online database of ivory sculptures made in Western Europe ca. 1200-ca. 1530. The project was launched in 2008 and has been adding ivories from museums around the world since then. Both the Toledo Museum of Art and the Allen Memorial Art Museum at Oberlin are new additions to the database and other Ohio

Diptych, 3 registers, bands of rosettes (décor de roses) from the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Lillee. Other Ohio
Valley contributors are the Taft Museum in Cincinnati and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
A great resource for anyone doing research about ivory sculptures, the database is full of images, is browsable by subject and has an advanced search.
The website also includes a bibliography on gothic ivories as well as other useful online resources.
